About
"My job is to make sure the photographer only has to concentrate on the photograph and the client." That's the standard I've built everything around.
My career started far from a camera. I worked in finance in Florida at a hedge fund, where a small error could have large consequences. That world gave me a genuine intolerance for sloppiness and an instinct for building processes that don't fail.
A spontaneous decision to go for a five-month solo explorational journey through Asia changed everything. The world of photography entered my life, and I have sticked with it since. I relocated to Copenhagen, started doing both light and digitech at the same time, and built a reputation as someone to be trusted completely with the most important thing a photographer owns: their images.
Since then, studios and locations across Europe, editorial and campaign, from small scale shoots to massive international productions. I've worked alongside Mario Testino, Ralph Mecke and more. I've been trusted by decision makers at Vogue, Charlotte Tilbury, Estée Lauder, Mercedes-Benz, Hugo Boss, and many more. Behind every opened door, the job was the same: be the person the photographer can fully trust, and never has to worry about.

Every card backed up before it's formatted. Every transfer double checked. Every file accounted for before the laptop closes. Not just at the end of the day, but continuously, from first frame to final export.

Tether connection dropped? Already working on fixing it before you notice. Battery low? Swapped between looks. Out of focus image? I am on it. The set belongs to the photographer. My job is to take care of the workflow in the smoothest possible way.

I have never once been late. Not fashionably. Not by five minutes. Not at all. No laptop or camera left in the hotel room, to be later discovered 2 hours drive away on location.

I understand light. I understand where a photographer's attention is during the shoot, and what to look out for. That fluency means I'm not just reacting to needs, I'm also anticipating them.

My role is not to be the personality on set. When I notice something worth mentioning while we shoot, I voice it, otherwise I blend into the background.

Your professional workflow. Your preferences. What you say about the ways of doing your things. The second job together is always better than the first.

I have zero aspiration to become a photographer. This is not a stepping stone. When the day comes, I will retire from this industry as a digital operator. You will never have to worry about me approaching your clients or your team with my own agenda. The stronger your relationships, the better it is for both of us.

When my workload allows, I help. Simple as that. This is a team effort, not an individual sport, and if someone needs a hand I would rather give it than watch them struggle.

A full studio configuration built around reliability and speed. Digistation with laptop, a 24" Calibrated monitor, with optional 1-2 iPads as add ons, designed so the photographer and the client always has a clean line of sight to the images we shoot.
